Why Visit Us

Success Link is our local Montclair Village Oakland/Piedmont BNI chapter.  There are chapters like ours all over the Bay Area, in fact, all over the world.  When you come to our meeting, you will meet dozens of local business owners and managers, as well as representatives of national companies.
But, it's not just a "Hi, my name is such-and-such. What's your name?"  At each meeting every member and every visitor stands, in turn, and gives an "infomercial" describing their business, ideal client, and qualifications.  Once we know what you offer and how to recognize your potential customer, we can send you solid referrals.

You will also meet more than 37 local, reliable, researched merchants and service providers you can refer your friends, family-and even yourself-to our members with confidence.

Who Can Visit Us

Anybody can be a visitor at two meetings, either two meetings at the same chapter, or one meeting at each of two chapters. 

If your business or profession is not in direct conflict with a current member, you can give your infomercial during that portion of the meeting. 

We are looking for visitors to join our chapter and increase their business through "givers gain"-the BNI Philosophy to success.

How To Get Invited

To make sure your business is a good fit, call our president or a member from our list whose business is similar to or complementary to yours.  We'll make sure that you don't show up during our rare holiday (December 30, 2008 is our next day off); that you know where to park; and that you'll have someone familiar to help you feel comfortable and appreciated throughout the meeting. 

What To Bring

Bring at least 40 business cards which will be made available to everyone at the meeting.

Parking

Most of the nearby parking is metered, so bring a bunch of quarters. Please don't park in any of the off-street lots.

These money collecting devices are perfect for BNI visitors: As soon as you park (even before paid parking starts!)  put in the coins until you have enough credit to park from 8:00am to 8:45am, then put the tag in your car on your dashboard.
